Are you ready to move your industrial sales career to the next level? Cordstrap Italia is looking for experienced Area Sales Manager! You will be managing an existing regional customer base of Key to C accounts in Target Industries. You will be working to meet quarterly targets for existing business, in addition, to self-generating and converting new business on the sales area to meet pre-determined quarterly targets. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage and develop existing Key to C customer base within a planned call cycle. Develop new business in line with group growth plan using Cordstrap''s business intelligence programmes (SaleScores). Supporting Key and National Account Management with acquisition, maintenance and development of identified Group Key Accounts. Identify and develop new business opportunities to agreed targets. Generate and contact prospects, liaising with Key and National Account Management to maximise Cordstrap customer intelligence. Provide feedback and insights from customers to Account and Country Management. Responsible for gross profit and commercial activity on the sales area. Responsible for using established CRM tools for effective sales management and updating internal reporting system to record weekly sales call activity. Attend the Cordstrap Training Centre (CTC) in Holland for product training and to complete full training in Cordstrap computerised systems. Arranging and managing open diary with the Country Manager and Inside Sales, minimising office days. Proactively identify new prospecting opportunities including the use of Social Networking i.e. LinkedIn. Attend trade exhibitions and carry out stand duty. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a related job in a logistics or technical environment, with experience in the use of supporting administrative systems; Sales, Demonstration, Negotiating & Closing skills; Experienced in time and territory planning and management; Able to work under pressure to set targets; Commercially aware; Demonstrable IT skills (MS Office and CRM system); Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Good organising and time management skills; Experience of record keeping and report writing; Flexible and pragmatic approach; Able to work independent but also in a team; Enthusiastic with a drive for excellence.
